History
The Destiny Project, Inc. began in 1998 when Rex Tonkins was given a mandate by God to assist young people in discovering their purpose in life. Together with his wife, Vickie, The Destiny Project is helping young people discover their purpose in Christ. The organization has touched lives beyond our wildest dreams and the strategic summer tour has been an excellent source in training young people to be leaders.
Mission
We strive to teach and lead young people to seek God with all their hearts. We continuously encourage them to use their gifts and talents for the kingdom of God. We endeavor to assist them in discovering their purposes and destinies through Jesus Christ. We consistently motivate them to share what they have learned with others.
In 2003 The Destiny Project became partners with Calvary Worship center and this has lead to a wonderful connection of serving the tangible needs of our city and helping the body of Christ become engage in growing as leaders and discipling young people. The Calvary family has made a major difference in helping us to lead young people to Christ and connect new believers to God’s word.
